Severe Winter Weather in The Netherlands

Operational Notice – Severe Winter Weather Impacting Transport Operations
Due to heavy snowfall and severe winter weather conditions in the Netherlands, our operational environment has significantly deteriorated.
The adverse weather is impacting all modes of transport, not only airfreight but also road and barge operations. According to our logistics partners and official news sources, many roads are currently difficult to pass, and traffic conditions are heavily disrupted. In several regions, truck operations are either severely restricted or temporarily suspended, resulting in delays and traffic standstills. Barge operations may also be affected due to limited accessibility and safety concerns.
In addition, a substantial number of flights have been cancelled or are experiencing significant delays, which is directly impacting our airfreight shipments.
The Dutch authorities have issued Code Red warnings for Wednesday and Friday, advising the public to avoid travel unless strictly necessary.
Our teams are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with our partners and authorities. We will keep you informed and provide updates as soon as conditions improve or if your shipments are affected.
We appreciate your understanding during these exceptional circumstances and assure you that we will proactively communicate any changes impacting your cargo.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information or shipment-specific updates.
Trust having you informed accordingly.
